Traffic in Internet Marketing is important because without it you are not going to make any sales or income. Traffic generally refers to visitors or people who visit your site, landing page, funnel or even shop.

So why is traffic so important am glad you asked!

Traffic as explained being visitors meaning real people you need to know that without people coming to your site or shop you won’t make a single penny. It is these visitors that convert into buyers and then repeat customers if you handle them well.

How much traffic do You Need to Your Site to make money?

Generally speaking, most people always skip this question but that is a question you should always be asking yourself. If you have a product or service you have to offer you should have a target in mind.

If you have a target of making $500 a day then you may need at least 500-1000 visitors each day. If the traffic is super targeted and they are really interested in what you have to offer then am very sure you can make more than $500 a day.

Of course, it is not guaranteed that you should send 500 visitors a day to see sales. You may get more or less depending on your traffic source. But let me give you an estimate of what you need to achieve what you need.

These estimates are just meant to give you an idea and are based upon my stats and experiments with targeted traffic.

The straight answer to this is to find a high-converting offer you don’t need to even have your own. Just focus on sending as many eyeballs to that sales-page and it does its magic.

In Internet Marketing, It is a numbers game you should average at least 100 clicks to your site to really make some significant income. There is your answer 100 clicks or more a day.

Beginner marketers want all the traffic in the world. If you can’t buy your way in then you will have to make your way in. This is something you need to really understand.

Traffic can flood to you or you can flood towards it. As a beginner never attempt paid traffic because 9/10 you will fail and lose money.

Choose a platform you really use most often, if it is a social platform then great you are going to be engaging on the platform and it won’t feel like work. Once it feels like work itself then that is not your best Traffic source.

If you are an introvert start a blog, if you love watching videos then you won’t have a problem creating your own. Free traffic is sweeter than paid traffic because it lasts long and never dies out.

Here is your answer the Best Traffic source is the Traffic source you spend a lot of time each day engaging on and can’t live without it. If you love watching Tik Tok videos then just start building your own audience there as well. Trust me it won’t feel like work.

Which is Better Free or Paid Traffic?

Honestly I love Free things. Free things are sweet however they take time. Which means you will have to grind hard to make it work.

Paid Traffic is good if you want quick results but it is never good for beginners and in the long run if you have no clue on what you are doing. Paid traffic the moment you turn off those ads or run out of budget then you stop making the money.

People who build a strong foundation for their business will always reap when the lazy ones are asleep. This is something you should learn the moment you build an audience everything will work for you miraculously

You should always build and audience for yourself. You should always take that audience with you wherever you go. This will come to haunt you later on once you lose the platform if you don’t also do it right.

I am talking about building an email list. Beginners often overlook this which I get. I also don’t mind list building in some cases. If it is free traffic I build an email list and for some cases of paid traffic.

What Are the Best Traffic Sources For Newbies or Beginners?

There are many Traffic sources but the best ones are these I have listed below. Choose one and start building your audience.

• Facebook. This is great for all niches and you can really succeed if you use it well. You can build a Facebook group, fan pages and send traffic to your websites and links without paying for any ads.

• Instagram. This is a great Platform for all niches as well but. if you really want success on there you are going to have to grind harder than on Facebook. It is getting harder each day to grow and their algorithm has some limits to content spread

• Youtube. This is a great Traffic source if you are not good at writing or social media but love making videos. It is important to always make videos about topics that people are searching for. You can simply use a free chrome extension vidIQ and you will be on your way to success

• Blogs. As a matter of fact, you are here reading this blog article you should believe that blogging is not dead and still works to this day. All you need is a hosting account, content ideas that get searched in google or any other search engine.

You just need a couple of tools and pins to get started once you have created your blogger site you can link the URLs from your blogger site to pins created on Pinterest. Powerful right.!

With this Platform you don’t even need to have a website you can simply create a landing page using Convertkit or Getresponse and I have added videos to show you exactly how to do this.

• TikTok. This is still a platform that many people especially marketers are still reluctant about. All you need is a free account post twice a day for at least a month. It is way easier to grow on Tik Tok than on Instagram.

The videos can be easily made inside the app and if you think you don’t want to be on camera then that is fine too because you can still make the videos in Canva. Use the templates in there and make as many videos as you can then you can schedule them using the Tiktok schedule app

Note I haven’t include Platforms Like Twitter, Snap Chat because 9/10 Internet Marketing on Twitter won’t work out for you.

Twitter Is good for celebrities, content creators, it is more of a fan base Platform so If you have no fans then it is going to be a war growing on there.

Pro Tip: Twitter is a great Paid traffic source that most marketers don’t use much at all. It has a low CPC than Facebook and Instagram, remember Your content or ads have to blend in as normal tweets the moment you sell you won’t succeed on there.

Basically, all you need to master in online marketing is free Traffic. The best advice I can give you is don’t buy a course. I have never bought a course in my life. Because it all comes back to the basics. And as I said master Traffic and you have unlocked the secret to Internet Marketing.

Courses are just there to benefit the owners. Most of the content taught is already on Youtube and blog articles. Do the research and be open to learning that is the best course you can ever take.

Fine courses may have some information not taught in videos or articles but just do free traffic and you should be good. It will make a difference in your life.

Not Building an Email List.

You don’t need to have an audience we all start from scratch. Build your email list as you grow it will make a difference ten years from now when you look at it.

You can use your Email list to print money by recommending software and products to your audience via email and you won that traffic.
