Share Your Links In Niche Related Subreddits.
Subreddits are more niche-based which means you can target people interested in your affiliate content or website reviews. If you have a website and am sure by now You should at least have a website.
I happen to have made my personal case study in the past on how I got free targeted visitors to my website using Reddit in the video attached below.
With this method, I get anywhere from 50-60 daily visitors to my site without having to mostly rely on Google traffic all the time.
Once Google notices that your content is getting shared/upvotes on Reddit then this alerts them that it is good content and so it should rank higher.
If you don’t have a website You could try adding links to your landing pages or bridge pages as Reddit bots are very thorough when it comes to affiliate links.

Start Your Own Subreddit.
Similar to Facebook groups, Quora Spaces, Subreddits unite people on Reddit with similar interests, goals, and idealogy.
So this means you can start your own subreddit and attract people that can be your target customers to your subreddit and share your information with them.
So how do you grow Your subreddit?
It is quite similar to how you grow a Facebook group. You can join other subreddits similar to yours and engage with those in the Subreddits share links to your posts in Your Subreddits in other subreddits that allow links.
You can also try cross-posting which is a share option on Reddit that allows you to share your content across different communities.
You could also reach out to the moderators of huge subreddits and Pitch them the idea about your new community and how it would benefit them.
You can create a supplementary subreddit targeting a problem the existing subreddits don’t solve and this will give you a higher chance of them making an announcement in their subreddits for members to join yours as well.
Ensure the idea greatly benefits them as it could increase the chances of your subreddit getting featured in other subreddits. If it is all about you then this idea won’t work.
Answer Or Comment on reddit Posts ranking Google
In your specific niche head over to Google and type in some questions and see if Reddit questions or posts are ranking. What you want to do is try and answer or comment on these questions and add a link to your Subreddit if it aligns itself with what you’ve found.
Promote Your Subreddit Most Engaging Posts.
You can promote your most engaging posts with valuable information on other platforms like Quora. All you need to do is to find a question on Quora answer it and link back to your subreddit.
Optimize Your Subreddit with keywords.
If you are creating your Subreddit ensure that you think about the keywords people are typing in the search bar on Reddit. You can add these in the description and ensure you add them normally so that people can know what your community has to offer.
Post daily in Your Subreddit.
I don’t know why this works, but it works. You should try and o polls, ask questions and engage your new members to spark off conversations that attract more members in this subreddit.
If you do all these steps for 30 days you will see your group grow organically and much faster.
Play Around With Reddit ads
Reddit ads are not talked about that much in the internet marketing space. and they are way cheaper than the Facebook ads everyone craves for. Reddit ads have a higher reach and they are affordable in that you can target specific subreddits and other different placements.
With Reddit ads you can specific topics, that get thousands of impressions and visitors daily. To make your success guaranteed with reddit ads ensure you use eye catching videos, or banners.
Be specific as possible to get the best results target a topic in each ad campaign and start off slow and see how much sales you generate.
Reddit ads are similar to Native ads if you can create a stand-out creative that captures attention you can bring your spend down and your ad gets better distribution.
Jump on Trends
Similar to Tik Tok if you want to get more exposure and reach even new people then you should do the same on Reddit.
How do you find trends on Reddit?
If you use the Reddit search bar on your PC at the top and don’t type anything you should see a drop-down of the top recent trends across the platform.
You can also find these in the top menu of your Reddit account. By now you should at least be familiar with the platform so you should be able to find your way around the platform.
If it is a celebrity trend ignore it because it is not long-term and it will fade and decline soon.
I am going to give you an example. Bitcoin is a huge trend if you could create a Subreddit targeting Bitcoin buying and selling then you should even grow much quicker.
The trend in others words be monetizable.
The most money you can make is when you jump on a trend and be the first to present yourself as the authority then you will see the trend profit for you.
I personally don’t like Bitcoin I prefer normal dollars so I won’t pivot but I encourage you to try it out.
But this remains the idea for affiliate marketing if you can create a post or subreddit about a popular product then you will attract conversations and people.
Hopefully make some money.
Most Popular Posts or Subreddits get featured on the front/ home page of Reddit and get heaps of people seeing them and if you had a link to your site you can make money.
In most cases, if your site is featured on the front page of the internet then it may go temporarily down as your hosting provider may not be able to handle that traffic or volumes of people at once.
Experiment or Try Reddit Live.
With Reddit Live you can get a lot of viewers and the more viewers you get the more the platform pushes your content to a wider audience. If your niche has a huge audience then this shouldn’t be hard.
If you know someone huge in your niche you can host a live show and this may attract people to your services or products if you gave the viewers a call to action.
Here are some examples of Reddit live ideas
- Playing music covers for your favorite songs.
- Playing games live.
- Doing challenges in your niche.
- Trying out new brands.
With these, you should have some ideas or videos you can even come up with and this means you can literally start today you don’t even need a website.
